All ministries at Christ Lutheran Church can be
traced back to the "Great Commandment" of our
Lord Jesus Christ:
"Love God,
and love your neighbor as yourself"
(see Matthew 22:37-38)

All that we do at Christ Lutheran Church, individually or collectively,
serves these two purposes. Our wish to follow the "Great
Commandment" finds many different outlets. It begins in our private
lives, at home and at work. It continues in our efforts as a Christian
congregation. The "Great Commandment" serves as a guiding
compass, especially in situations of ethical ambiguity. "Does what I
am about to say or do show love for God and other people, or does it
not? And if not, what would be the loving thing to say or do?" These
questions are very helpful in guiding us through a time when it seems
that more and more people are only concerned about their own
welfare. At Christ Lutheran Church, we are determined to gather our
treasures in heaven (see Luke 12:33).
Christ Lutheran Church is engaged in a number of different
ministries, and the number is constantly growing. Please see the
links on the right side of the screen for more details.
